Last week we had an exciting activity! We got to try several different foods from several different countries.
- From Africa: Plantain, Mangoes, and Guava Juice
- From China: Coconut Milk, Pot Stickers, Egg Rolls
- From India: Rice Pudding
- From Mexico: Rice and Beans
- From Japan: Wasabi Rice Crackers, Edamame
- From Germany: Pumpernickel Bread
- From Scotland: Shortbreak Cookies
Several children enjoyed the spicy rice and beans!
Our cultural food expert, Ange, helped the kids get their food. She also described where a lot of the foods came from and what they tasted like.
The edamame was a huge hit! They loved how they just popped out of the pods!
