The last three Thursdays, first grade had a guest speaker from the Marion County Health Department. Ms. Jackie spoke to the kids about exercising, eating healthy, and fruits and vegetables. To celebrate our last visit, the children were able to taste a few fruits and vegetables. Here are the kids in my room as well as in Mrs. Deaton's room:
